Marine science is a field less popular in Malaysia and probably many Asian countries but a lot more
common outside Malaysia. The famed Jacques Cousteau, and the much respected Sylvia Earle are some of our earliest
and most accomplished marine biologists or explorers. Oceanographers, Marine Biologists, Marine Scientists, Marine Explorers.
These are all synonymous terms for a similar profession. Malaysia is almost fully surrounded by water, yet not many seem to
be interested in paying any attention to this sea country we have beyond our coasts. When are we going to have our own people
taking care of our seas? Aah, it's discouraging unless you encourage yourself.
This site is not fantasy land anymore though it was supposed to be a temporary escape.
